I. How to deal with valve leakage

Industrial valves: It's not that the valve itself is leaking. Add a sealing ring at the connection. If the valve is leaking by itself, ask the manufacturer to repair it. Household valves: If there is a leak at the connection with the pipe, wrap more self-adhesive tape around the connection. If the valve itself is leaking, disassemble the valve and add a sealing ring inside. If it doesn't work, just replace it.

Ii. How to Install Valves

For valve installation, first cut the pipe along the vertical direction, then trim and remove burrs, and measure the pipe diameter. Use gauze or a wire brush to clean the pipes and cutting areas to make the metal surface shine. It is recommended not to use steel wool.

Apply flux to the outside of the pipe and the inside of the welding cover. The flux must completely cover the welding surface and be used in moderation.

2. Make sure the valve is in the open position. Heat the pipeline first. Transfer as much heat as possible from the pipe to the valve. Avoid extending the heating time of the valve itself.

3. Method of silver brazing: Assemble the components that need to be brazed. If the component coated with flux is allowed to stand upright, the moisture in the flux will evaporate, and the dry flux is prone to fall off, making the exposed metal surface prone to oxidation.

4. When connecting and assembling, insert the pipe into the pipe sleeve until it encounters an obstruction. Assembly must ensure a stable support so that the entire brazing operation can remain in a straight position.
